My Hubby is going on a long motorcycle journey in about a month from now and wants a tattoo to 1) commemorate the trip and 2) for protection on his journey.  He wanted to know if we could do a little tattoo magic for this particular tattoo and I said " well shit yeah, baby!"  When he came to me with this idea I was blown away. He has never asked for any magical workings of this kind from me before so this was soooo freakin' awesome. It was at the last moment before we went to get the tattoo and I forgot my camera to show the process but who cares... this was great. His close buddy at work has tattoo parties at his house so he set up a time to get his tattoo which was this last Saturday night.

A couple of weeks ago I ordered a gremlin bell for his motorcycle, It's a cool looking gargoyle. Its believed that the constant sound of the gremlin bell mesmerizes evil road spirits and chases them away while on the road. He liked the gargoyle so much that he found a gargoyle tattoo that he just had to have. He found out that gargoyles are guardians and protectors of property and people they are akin to. So this seemed very fitting for the trip and for him in general because he is always on the road for his job too.

Blessing Of The Skin:

Before we left, we washed the area with Full Moon Water where he was getting his tattoo and repeated a simple chant a few times:

"Bless this skin and make it pure,
 the art it wears shall long endure."

When we were at the tatt party and right before his turn, when everyone went out for a cigarette I hung back and did an ink blessing.

Blessing Of The Ink:

"Lord and Lady, Sun and Moon
 Be present here I ask this boon.
 Bless this ink and make it pure,
 The power within shall long endure."


Right after he got the tattoo and as soon as we got in the truck, I charged the tattoo for him. I  asked him to feel and intend that the words were true, basically feel the meaning of the words since he is not that hip to my witchy ways. Before I charged it I smuged the truck with a cigarrette( hey don't laugh, its tobacco right? I forgot my smudge wand and I am the queen of improvizing,lol) and created sacred space then repeated the charge three times.

Tattoo Empowerment Charge:


" We charge this symbol on J's skin
  Manifest, guard and protect within.
  A cone of safety on the out,
  A power of which there is no doubt.
  Intricate lines that are created,
  Blood and Ink have now been mated.
  So mote it be!"


When we finished he just sat there looking at me and I thought he was going to ask for a divorce cuz he thought I was nutty than a squirrel turd in a peanut factory, but, he simply said " that was really nice, thanks" in a happy tone. He said that he also feels ready for the trip now.

Ever since Saturday night there has been something a little different between us, in a good way. It almost feels like there is a new relaxed comfort with each other, does that make any sense? Perhaps a little more understanding of my beliefs on his part and a little more relief and his acceptance of my ways on my part. Whatever it is it feels Wyckked!

This is a tattoo he got a couple of years ago. He said as soon as he saw it it reminded him of me, ok, I guess, lol. So I talked him into adding a pentacle at the top of her wings... now its more like me,lol. She's in real need of a touch-up! Hey wait...me too, lol!

I don’t know anyone who doesn’t want a little more money and good prosperity in their lives. I know I want as much as I can get my greedy little meat-hooks into, lol. Mostly out of necessity of course. So I did this very simple money drawing spell without a specific need or time, etc. Just for bringing abundance and prosperity into my life in a general sense. Sometimes even the most modest of spell work can be very productive if given a chance.

MONEY COME TO ME

Gather the following items:

A green candle
A Candle holder
Lighter
A Dollar Bill
Various coins
Herbs/Gems/Trinkets corresponding to money, and prosperity(your choice)

Place the dollar bill on a flat surface.

On top of that place the candle holder. 
In the candle holder place the green candle(I anointed mine with peppermint oil but it is totally up to you how you control the spell, I‘m just an annointer, lol).

Surround the candle with various money drawing objects(herb, gems, trinkets) of your choice.

Light the candle(Never leave a candle unattended) while envisioning money and prosperity coming to you for your needs.

Place a coin or two or a few at the foot of the candle holder and say:

“Money Money Come To Me
This Is Where You Need To Be.
Money Money Come My Way
This is where You Need To Stay!”

After a few minutes or when you are ready extinguish the candle.

Everyday for the next month place a coin or two or a few at the foot of the candle and repeat the rhyme while thinking of money coming to you. At the end of 30 days or so take all the change and put it towards something beneficial for the Earth and/or Universe. I decided that I am going to use my change to buy money drawing herb seeds for to plant in my little garden that way I can keep the prosperity growing in my life, lol.

What Would Durga Do?
Mamma Bear needs to love and forgive her husband for pissing me off where our kids are concerned. So I am asking Durga, the Hindu Goddess of motherhood and ferocity for her help in this matter. I believe that even though I am not dedicated to any one pantheon or another that I can love and respect all cultures’ Goddesses and Gods and that they each have the power and will to love and guide me as well, regardless. Durga is a fierce, protective mother Goddess so I believe she is one of the perfect deities to ask for guidance in the situation. I see her reflected in me, so, yeah.

SPELL OF SWEET FORGIVENESS:

Gather these items:

　
　A jar with a lid big enough to fit a popsicle stick

Popsicle stick

Pen or sharpie

A small bowl of lavender(for help with marital problems and relationships and easing problems between parents and children)

Rose quartz(for love and forgiveness)

Red cloth (for love and strengthening bonds) for under work area

A vessel of water

Next:

Write the name of the one who offended you on one side of the popsicle stick, and yours on the other side.

Fill the jar half full with sugar and place the stick in the sugar.

Sprinkle some lavender in the jar.

Place the rose quartz in the jar.

Chant:

“In this sugar we both now stand,
back to back, yet hand to hand,
Change (name)‘s sour thoughts of me,
to sweet forgiving thoughts, I plead.”


Add water until ¾ full....while adding say:

“I wash away what keeps us at bay
Now let forgiveness come my way”

Cap the jar tightly and shake *6 times, saying:

“Bring (name) thoughts of me so sweet,
That forgiveness is now complete”

Each day for the next *6 days give the jar *6 shakes while saying the last chant.
(*The number Six represents kindness, love, friendship and affection, understanding and forgiveness - and we all need that right here and now in this family…damn it, lol)
　
I placed the red cloth down first and sprinkled about some lavender on it. I did this when I created Sacred Space beforehand. I should mention that when I practice magic I always create Sacred Space by lighting a candle and using a smudge stick or incense and consecrating the room myself and my items to be used and invite the spirits to join me. I don’t do a ritual every time I do spell work, I usually do rituals on the Sabbats and Esbats and if it requires dire need. Other than that Creating Sacred Space before spellworking works just fine for little ‘ol me. It’s just how I doo’s it, lol! And that’s what its all about right? Finding whatever works best for you.

BALANCE SPELL:

So guys, are you getting tired of the whole balance thing yet? Well I certainly hope not because I created and performed a spell for bringing balance into my life. Especially emotional balance so I can fight the never ending battle within of good versus wicked within myself. I haven’t given this spell a name, I usually don’t because nobody ever sees them except little ‘ol me and I definitely know why I am doing it or I wouldn’t be doing it in the first place, right? Sooo I don’t usually name them at all, but for the sake of possibly somebody reading this I guess I should give it a name. What do ya think? Let’s give it a snappy name, something cute(like me). How about Balance Baby Balance?

Sounds good and so it is:

Balance Baby Balance
I thought what would be a good representation of balance and the Yin Yang came to mind immediately. The perfect balance of dark and light, of masculine and feminine, etc. You don’t get much better than that. From here on out I am going to put this into a form of instruction in case anyone would like to try it, it’s cool by me, lol.

First find a Yin Yang picture that you like and print out two big ones.

Next cut them out and place them on the floor where you will be doing this about shoulder width apart( I really gotta get new flooring soon).

Now step on the yin yangs making sure your feet pretty well cover them.

Hold your arms out from your sides, you know kind of like if you are balancing on a beam or something.

Now visualize the power of the yin yang and the power of balance coming into your being. Feel the power of balance coming up through your feet and legs from each yin yang. Imagine it settling in the center of your body and residing with you now and staying with you as long as you need it to.
Then you can chant if you like.

This is the chant that I used:

“Left, right, up and down
Balance lives all around.
Now you are a part of me,
To my life bring symmetry.”
So Mote It Be

You can use this one if you like or change the words or what-have-you, its all kosher, lol. I gotta tell you I could really feel the power from this one. My feet and legs really became tingly while doing this spell. Can you FEEL THE POWER, Can I get and AMEN, Halleluyer. Sorry, I was channeling my inner Madea(I just love her, him, you know what I mean). I really do feel more balanced since performing this. I think maybe I will work on control next. Goddess knows I could use a good dose of that too.
